Google recently announced the Google Apps Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server. However, they specified that the calendar sync would only be one way "from Google Calendar to your BlackBerry device". This has puzzled us, so I emailed Google Apps Sales. Here is an excerpt of our conversation:
Me: can I ask why the calendar will only have one-way sync? We are currently in the decision-making process, weighing Google Apps and Microsoft Exchange. Although we are very impressed with Google Apps, BES with Microsoft Exchange offers 2-way calendar sync and this is something that is a requirement for us.
Google: Our product developers are aware of this and are working to roll out two-way sync this year for the BES connector.
