Hi everybody,
It seems that there are many TOURs out there that can not be upgraded to os 5.x.x.xxx..(unable to reconnect during multistage bla bla bla....)
I think RIM should address this issue. especially with early/pre-released unit or the one which is Made in Canada.
We tested on 6 Tours, (3 Verizons:Made in Mexico 5, 1 Telus:Made in Canada, and 2 Pre-release unit:Made in Canada), in fact only 2 Verizon were able be upgraded to OS 5...the rest stuck with red blink on the device and unable to reconnect during......)
We believed that the Beta Radio File from all os 5 are not being compatible yet..(we even successfully inject rim0x0D000D04.sfi file directly to the phone but still stuck with the red blink..)

We tried with all the methods to solve "unable to reconnect.." but the still no luck.
Conclusion is:
THE OS 5 RADIO FILES IS NOT COMPATIBLE FOR SOME TOUR.

"DEVICE ERROR: 404"


*** RIM please help to address the issue....***
I believe there are hundreds of member in here at Crackberry which is actually the one that creates those OS(RIM OS Programmers)>>>
