same issue in 50 v1.1 and no, VAD doesn't work

Main difference is the calculator works and voice dialing...if you use it I dont...voice dialing that is

One thing I didn't do when I installed 50 v1.1 was reinstall the 5.0.0.140 base - would that have made the difference? I just removed the folders in the loader folder and then installed w/the installer...

Is the VAD fix swapping the .190 files that Gerald posed with the .140 files?

Has the Tour Hybrid v5.2.1 Released (4.7.1.40 Based) .rar file been updated too? or was the installer the only thing updated? Cuz it still shows that the .rar was last modified 8/26/09 at 12:33pm and today is the 27th

im having the same issues. Voice dialing wont work, i cant open the options menu.
and when i do a battery pull i get the following errors:

uncaught exception:
java.lang.error

and then

uncaught exception:
applicationregistry.wait
for
(0x37566616e5676388
) timeout

and the error on the options menu is

uncaught exception:
Missing resource
net.rim.device.apps.internal.vad.resource.vad


im going to install the new fix you just posted now and il report back with any more errors.
