    to the OP: just an FYI there is a search function on here that is very useful, because more than likely general questions like this will have been asked/answered before. There's no official date yet for the OS, but search around if you want speculation.

    I'm gonna be a pessimistic j3rk at this point. VZW released OS5 for the Storm 4 days before the Storm2 came out. Expect OS5 for our Tours 4 days before the Essex drops.
