After seeing the screen shots on the first page, I know realize that something happened while I was trying to install this hybrid. Anyway I downloaded a new OS .576 and tried installing and I got this error message. What are your thoughts on what caused it and how can I install this hybrid.

    Works great, I like it

My only question relates to Blackberry Maps: my Loader shows v6.0.0.32 upgraded from 6.0.0.31. But once installed on my Blackberry, the application list shows 6.0.0.31.
Strange, how did it upgrade the app?

Can we have a mirror? Fileserve is so crap and it's not funny. Can never get a full download from there every now and again.

I think there's nothing difference with these versions, maybe it just an installation glitch.

I installed the rroy java files over my .576 OS yesterday, and the device is working just fine. Maybe its living in the dream fulfilled, but I think I see my browser pages loading faster. RRoy's program makes this mod easy to do, and it doesn't take long. I'd recommend it. So, thanks, Rroy!

i installed this to my 9800 with face book 2.0.0.23(from beta zone) twitter 2.0.0.11 and blackberry messenger 6.0.0.73(from beta zone) and all 3 have been extremely sluggish my bbm messages do not send out and i have to do a battery pull on twitter i can not see what is trending or receive any direct messages even though i have extremely good service on Facebook everything is slow i have had this hybrid for going on to 4 days and yes i did the 2 battery pulls before and after the fresh install and i continued to do a battery pull every 6 hours this hybrid has not really been a good thing on my 9800 but it can just be me or maybe i have to do another fresh install but i would not recommend this hybrid to any body that uses the above 3 apps i mentioned in the beginning

P.S-Like i said it could just be me you can give it a try and you may get positive results but in my case i am going to just wait for the leaked 6.0.0.600 for the torch or just install another hybrid over.576

It seems that this is your first time doing hybrid OS installation to your device, right? In my case, rroyy's version was my first hybrid to try and installed it into my Torch. So far, I haven't experienced any difficulties or issues. I'm already using the 3 app (FB 2.23, BBM 6.73 and Twitter 2.11) before giving these hybrid a try on my device.

So it seems that its just you. Maybe, you should give it another try or do a fresh OS installation and most importantly, read instructions carefully. It's worth a try.

    Cheers!

After using this for a day now. My battery life still drains out pretty fast. Not much different execpt for the booting time. Might try to wipe out my device & do a clean installation of the OS.

I'm getting some slight freezing now and then with .600. I am considering going back to .576. Just curious, what were the drivign factors that made you revert to .576 from .600?

    Many Thanks.
