    So I've got 5.0 on my curve and I'm loving it. The threaded SMS is neat and all, but I'm confused as to how I'm supposed to insert a line break now that hitting "return" sends the SMS. Anybody know?

    Just yesterday I sent my dad an SMS with a recipe for a spice rub formatted like this:

    1 tsp whatever
    2 tsp whatever else
    1 cup love (kidding)

    Is this no longer possible? Am I the only person in the world who uses line breaks in an SMS? Any help would be appreciated.

    Tried left shift + enter, right shift + enter, and alt + enter. No dice.

    I don't have OS 5.0 but this works on BBM so I thought it would for threaded SMS

    I tried it again to make sure I wasn't dumb... but it turns out that I am. Left shift + enter did the trick. Perhaps my thumb slipped the first time. Oh well.
    <LeftShift+enter>
    Thanks for the help!

    I have a different question. When i first installed the os 5.0, i had options to change the sms's color, bubbles/stripes/ bold-font etc. However, they are no longer there or working. I thought maybe it was because i had deleted the Blackberry Instant Message so i reinstalled it but the options are still not working. Does anyone know how to fix it?

    If you go to options within your inbox there is the options for the layout (bubbles, stripes, what the messages sent by you say in the messages ie Me: ) and also in that same menu it says "Press enter key to send" by default this is set to checked if you uncheck it enter will do the same as it did in older OS's (linebreak)
