One thing right off the bat. When connected via wifi, I am not connected to the BB service. Only over the mobile network. Do you know what COD's control the switching, and I'll patch them.

loading this now, saw a few files of the browser that I have not seen in other hybrids... will report findings in a few days.

    Initial findings.

    1. lightning fast, the fastest I've had my BB with all my apps loaded.
    2. no issues with BIS through wifi, sure you had to turn the wifi on and off and a few batter pulls but ... all good, it locks right away after that.
    3. Trimmed it right down to 123Mb prior to my apps installed to about 89Mb with all loaded.
    4. Memory leak, too early.
    5. Battery life, too early.
    6. Theme, I do prefer our local designer here at CB, it looks good on your hybrid.

    Thanks again.

Quick question: can I choose not to install the additional apps? Or they are marked in the installator as required by system, thus impossible to 'untick'?

Hmmm.... it was mentioned in the OP, depending on which model you use:

    (...)

    BASE 9700: 6.0.0.534

    BASE 9780: 6.0.0.526

    BASE 9800: 6.0.0.526
    (...)
And the links to the base OS you will find for sure in this section:

It seems to be a pretty small download file. How many COD's are replaced from the base OS?

installed yesterday, so far so good....

very nice piece of hardwork, borferkic!

of course it would be much better if the centroberry also comes with english language option!
