Hi,
until two days ago, I have been bbm'ing normally with all my contacts.

Now, one contact stopped receiving my bbm msgs. However, I receive hers.

I sent her PIN msgs and they do not go through, I get the red x and a "service blocked" message.

I get her PINs.

We called our respective carriers (tmobile and att) and they were clueless.

Has anyone seen this? Any idea of what to do?

Her significant other probably got her phone and adjusted her firewall to not allow your messages. Lol

OK, I'll help you out. Give me her pin, and let me try sending her messages. Nothing dirty. I promise.

Can you be more clear. Is it bbm that isn't working, or pin messages? Or both?

I still want her pin number to make sure everything is alright.

Have you tried deleting and re-entering her as a contact?

it is not just BBM: if I send PIN msgs they do not go through.

So, both BBM and PIN msgs. weird.

Does she get pin/bbm from other contacts besides you? If those work then maybe check your contact profile in her phone; maybe something got blocked, although I'm not sure what it would be.

This thread is funny to watch. Not funny in a sarcastic way just a couple of the posts and replies. Significant other. That was classic. As mentioned, really sounds like a firewall setting. Does she receive from other BBM'rs?

she receives bbm/pin from other contacts. I can send/receive bbm/pin to/from other contacts as well.

seems to be an issue affecting only my outgoing msgs to her.

Well, now that does sound very unusual. Wish I could offer more but alas this seems that it will only be resolved by the people that can trace the BBM routing itself. RIM. You may need your better half to contact her carrier as well and go through their channels to be transferred to RIM too. Make sure that you or her have both PINS readily available if they ask for it. It will make things go a lot smoother.
