    I know the SYM key gives some special characters, but a few of my people on BBM have things like a heart, spade, club, etc...next to their name on my friends list. They want me to figure it out for myself and I have no idea how to add them/where to add them... Anyone know what I'm talking about?

    e-mail the symbols to your BB and then either copy/paste them into your BBM name or set up an autotext entry that you can use while typing your BBM name.

    I tried exactly that...both things...and when I went to paste while edited my BBM name, it didnt give me a paste option. And when I went to add the the character into Autotext, I'd select paste, but nothing would be there...tried multiple times...

    thats really weird. are you sure you're properly copying the symbols?

    a friend of mine's Curve won't allow them to paste the symbols directly into the "edit my info" section of BBM. but the auto-text method works perfectly fine.
