I have the latest Leaked OS file and instructions. Before I attempt to do the upgrade this weekend, I have some preliminary questions about this:
    • I have downloaded the OS file on a 32 bit Windows XP laptop. I will transfer the file onto my home computer, a 64 bit Windows 7 laptop that has been used to sync the Torch w/ the latest BB desktop software. Will the new OS load with the 64 bit windows 7 OS?
    • If things don't work out as planned, can I revert to the original OS, and how?
    • The phone is a USA locked AT&T Torch 9800, mexico 4 manufacture. Do I have to unlock the phone before the upgrade attempt of can I leave it locked as is?

    Again, thanks in advance

    1. Shouldn't have a problem installing on a 64 bit PC.
    2. If you want to downgrade, simply uninstall .246 from your PC, download and install the original OS, install it to the PC then to the BB.
    3. No need to unlock a phone to upgrade the OS.

Yes, that is where I got the instructions from. Thank you. I'll follow your advice after this next question, addressing an above reply: NoahFecks, where do I download the .141 OS to restore if needed?
