Small picture preview/unable to accept pictures on BBM

I have an 8900.

Whenever someone sends me a picture via BBM and I try to preview it, I get a small version of the picture surrounded by white. My wife has the same BB and when she previews a picture she gets it "full screen" size.

If I try to accept a picture the download just stays at "Received - 0.00 KBs".

I am at the most current BBM level.

Any suggestions on how to correct/fix this would be appreciated.

if you are on the most current BBM, you wont have to accept pictures. they should automatically be sent.

check appworld and try redownloading or upgrading to the newest BBM 5.0.1.41

uninstalled and re-installed BBM 5.0.1.41. Still no change.
