Side volume button for silencing ringer while in holster on BB 7

So ever since BlackBerry 7, it looks like one of the changes RIM decided to make on our devices is when you receive a call on your BlackBerry and it starts ringing and/or vibrating and it's in your holster and you attempt to silence it via one of the side volume up/down buttons, it stops ringing/vibing for a second and then starts again. Previously to BB 7, pressing one of the volume keys while it's in the holster would silence it for the until the next event/call depending on which profile you were using.

Now my question is: has anyone come across an app that would restore the original functionality of the volume buttons silencing a call notification while in the holster for BB 7? If not, anyone planning on making such an app? :D
