Sean, I love v5. Best my phone has ever been. Can you tell us what the improvements with v6 are? Any drawbacks?
You will notice that most everything is running more efficiently. I am on day 4 with no hiccups.

i waz just about to load up tanks hybird lol...just in time..is there any lag on the keyboard? cause tanks said his has virtually none and so are the responses of dowloaders
and 2 what should about screen say? 484?

Screen says 484....typing speed is ridiculous, had some lag 1 time....been running this for 4 days. IMHO Best Hybrid out there.

I have two main concerns:
1. Screen feel - I love the way v5 makes the click feel. It makes the screen click so much easier and softer than the other OS builds.
2. Battery life - v5 is the only OS which gave me an average drain of less than 5%. The battery life has been remarkable.
If people post that these two things have been improved, I'll jump on board.
i have been running this since this morning i couldnt wait. the lock button is super fast , the browser is killer and the keyboard is keeping up no lag this is the best build ive tried so far thanx sean

sean iz it ok for my broswer and core applications to say downgrade? my core system software says upgrade both thise two say downgrade...
I have been running this since its release on driphter a couple days ago and ITS CRAZY FAST! LOVE IT! Battery life is better than ever and all things are much faster. Thanx once again Sean.

Thinking about getting this as my first hybrid. I can go straight from .320 to this correct?
would be convient but incorrect..you must delete .320 off your pc then download .428 onto your pc....then download this hybrid ...then delte the java files of 428 and replace them with the java files of this hybird

you'd have to run a base .428 on your 9550. It will not run on any .3xx.

I always do 5 batt pulls in the actual first hour, am booting up now after the 4th one.....and this from the guy who is getting 10-15% batt drain on the regular....so far I've only lost 1% after doing this many batt pulls and loading all my backup's back onto the device. THAT is my biggest thing I'm hoping for an improvement for here, or else I'll have to drop back down to Beta .428. Working well so far for me though.
(Oh, and my reboots are only taking about 60-90 seconds on average so far, HUGE difference)
How many apps do you have running in the background? apps that refresh every so often and how often? and i've noticed the boot time as well it's very nice:D
Can anybody offer any more detail on the installation? This would be my first hybrid install. I have .428 but I'm bored, and it sounds like a hybrid is the way to go.
I'm assuming I replace the java files on the OS on the computer, and reinstall that operating system to the phone?
Where are the java files on the computer located?
