    Is there a way to disable the red led indicator when a new message arrives?

    It is annoying as can be when you are doing something in the browser and that stupid light just keeps blinking.

    Perhaps edit the profile?

    Yep, answered my own question. Edit the profile. Slow process, but works.

    Edit Profile>Choose the email account under Messages, and set LED to "Off"
