yes quit using desktop manager use /program files/common files/research in motion/app loader/ loader.exe, you don't need desktop manager to install the OS

well just saying 'it doesn't work' isn't going to get you anywhere, what is happening? is it giving you errors? you can't just say 'that doesn't work' and expect magical help, is windows detecting the phone?

Ok so I load up the loader.. I press Next twice and it scans my device.. at the next screen, it lists only my 3rd party apps/themes and under Action all of them have None listed. My only choice is "Next" which brings up a dialog saying "No actions are required".

Do a wipe prior to installing BBSAK? What does BBSAK do?

bbsak (blackberry swiss army knife) is a range of tools and multifunctions, use it TO wipe the phone, after you backup, let it reboot, and then try to run the previously mentioned loader.exe
