Since the drop of the official 6.0.0.600 for the 9650 from Sprint, we have been hard at work testing the next hybrid from OSBB.

Here we have OSBB 600v1. This Hybrid has been preforming flawless for us. We have included the menu/options fix in the hybrid, so you can now run your custom theme again and still change the wallpaper through the options menu.

    Install Over 600 Base

    Included in this build:

    6.0.0.524: 3
    6.1.0.44: 21
    6.1.0.50: 12
    7.0.0.115: 25
    7.0.0.187: 91

We hope you enjoy this build, and if you find any issue please let us know.

    Download Here

Working great so far. Its not make or break but can PTT be added to this? I use it occasionally with the wife but can live without it if it is not possible.

I do use PTT occasionally but have not tested it on this radio yet. I will test it tonight and let you know.

I still wish I knew why the Sprint builds will not let Vzw PTT work

I loaded this hybrid over .600 about 2 hrs ago. So far so good. Just noticed something weird though but I'm not sure if it's a bug in the hybrid or the OS. If I turn off wifi, my network turns off also. I just have to turn it back on again. Not a huge deal but if I forget, I would miss a lot of messages.

But I know what files need to be put in to make it work, it just doesn't with Sprint releases.

All the latest OS's randomly turned off my Network.
I mean. Never while it was on standby but randomly it dies.

Yeah, PTT will not work with this build. It has to do with the radio. I am sure the files in this build will work over 524, if you want to test them over that radio so you can keep PTT.

Hasn't happened for me. If I go into manage connections and turn off wifi, that's all that gets turned off. The only time i get connections turned off is when connected to my laptop.

Done. Took a little over two hours, with interruption's. As always, the EULA's took the most time. Everything seems stable. Now to play...

Thanks for the quick work OSBB folks!

NOTE: When I disable my Wifi, everything else remains active. So, no issues here...

I have been running the beta of this build for a couple of days. No issues at all. Batter is ok, but I think the speed on this build is worth the battery not being great.

Black, did you add anything to the final build?
