Feel lucky you're getting it at all. The poor Tour users aren't even going to get it and that device is just a couple months over a year old...

The model # doesn't mean much. 9700 is older than 9650, 9330, 9100. With 256MB of memory, it'll take a bit to trim the OS to run on your Bold

What the heck does changing to at&t have anything to do with you getting 6.0 on your 9700?

    What a dumb thread.

And what do you mean "you see all these devices running 6.0...." uhh dude, there is only one of those 3 (existing) devices running 6.0 and that is a leak....

The 9330 is a new phone and that too, is a leak.

it will release when people stop asking for it and start searching for the other 100+ threads on this subject

just saying.... but really no one knows... its up the carriers now as to when to release it so ..... wait!

do you think that CB or BBleaks or whoever has a written schedule as to when things are going to leak... no, so just be patient

It's ridiculous! Not that it's not out yet, but rather how often I check my phone if it's been leaked
I say, enjoy the wait! We have something to look forward to every day, once we actually have it, the thrill will be gone very quickly.
Like when you were a Kid around christmas time. Wasn't the days leading up to christmas always the best?

I had never used twitter before as I couldn't really think of a use for it that say facebook and RSS doesn't cover well until now.........

yes I am that sad that I have signed up for twitter just to get Crackberry and BBLeak tweets on this OS.

Always used RSS feeds before for getting updates but I am beginning to change my mind about the use of twitter. Not actually tweeting that much but I will be aware of when that OS drops. Any bets I am going to be in a meeting of somewhere I haven't got access to my laptop to download it when it does !

Funny how BGR was flaunting that video then every other phone but the 9700 gets a leak. So it dosent have anything to do with memory or cpu it pure politics at this point.

I believe OS 6 would be available around the release of the Bold 9780. The reason why I say that is they probably don't want to mess up sales for the upcoming device. So therefore we might have to wait all the way til October which sucks in my opinion because all these other devices are getting OS 6. I been rocking with OS 6 theme in the meanwhile with a hybrid installed OS which makes me happy with my BB for now until the OS 6 release on the 9700. Plus I have 6.0.0.180, 6.0.0.222, 6.0.0.225, 6.0.31 files, so I'm good.

Another theory: 9700 will not get OS6. You must purchase the 9780. Their excuse will be inadequate memory on the 9700.

    RIM won't play me.
