I just upgraded to 5.0.0.411 last night and it was 100 percent worth it. It was the first time ever upgrading my OS and it was easy. Now the browser is 10x faster, threaded SMS is great and the user interface/GUI is amazing!
Do it. You won't regret it. .411 should honestly be a full release by RIM.

yeah.
OS 5 .411 is amazing...
My prob now is wondering how to read chinese character and chinese input.
anyone can help?
New on crackberry. Just upgraded 2 days ago and .411 is awesome. Speed is better on browser, threaded sms is awesome! I had 4.6...304 before and all my apps work perfect. Had to do a couple upgrades to apps when some started but it was very easy. I too reccomend the upgrade.

Went from 4.6 to .411, definately worth it
Ok... i'll try 5.0.411 :D
Do you have the download link ?
Anyway, thank you all for the good information.
Happy Blackberry ! :)
Yeah. Go for it. I love it. Everything is faster. The memory is conserved much better. I run all the same apps that I used to run and I have about 12 or 13 more MBs of free space. Pretty convenient.
PS
Can anyone tell me how I can get visual voicemail on my phone. That's the only thing I'm missing.
Also, could someone confirm whether or not moving from the latest 4.6 version (on AT&T) to the 5.0.0.411 leaked one will mess with my BES connectivity? I'm assuming it won't but just wanted to make sure. My company pays for my Bold, and I don't want to screw up my BES integration and cause issues with my work email or with my Calendar syncing and such..
Thanks!
Now I wouldn't go that far! It's still not ready for prime time. But to answer the OP's question....yes, my friend, 100% worth the upgrade.

I have upgraded to OS 5.0.0.411.
So far i love the benefit which is faster, better interface, and looks like the battery life is better too. :)
BUT... some of my third party software can't run in this OS and everytime i do the battery pull, i need to login the email setup.
No chinese input. I think i'll just wait for the next OS 5 with chinese input.
i am happy with .411.
close to perfection build.
heard there is some minor issue with Facebook application, but i do not use it at all.

am fully satisfied with this version. never regret.
Hey guys, I upgraded to .411 last night. After it finished, I lost all my BBM contacts, any suggestions on how can i get it back?
If you want to get visual voicemail, find version 5.0.0.238 for the bold, install it, go to program files, common files, research in motion, shared, loader files, click on the .238 folder, and then finally java. Locate all of the VVM files. Install BBSAK, and upload those vvm files to your blackberry. The phone will reboot, and you will have visual voicemail! I had to do the same thing for my Bold running on AT&T.
5.0.0.411 is the best every OS build for 9000
