I have an 8330 through VZW. Does anyone know if they are going to release the OS 5.0 updates for it? The only update I have seen on vzw.com is for the 4.5 update which I already have.

There was a blog about which phones will be getting the os 5.0 and they said it was phones with at least 64MB of memory. So the 8330 will get it but the 8300, 8310, and 8320 will not be getting it.

Sorry, but your memory figures are a little off. The 83XX, and 81XX series have 64MB and the 8330 and 8330m have 96MB of memory.

The blog said any device with above 64MB of memory. If it was "at least" then the entire 83XX and 81XX series would see 5.0 too, but they aren't.

Just want to give a shout out to all blackberry bloggers. I have been trying to get more into using the cell phone. Currently, i will be going to las vegas, but when I get back to the Big O, I plan on getting internet connection. Some of your blogs were really good
