Anyone know how to get the three options for deleting email - mailbox, handheld, cancel - back on with .44? The only option I see is confirm delete - yes, no.
Log into your BIS site, delete the email, then add it back. You will get a confirmation email and all of the options will be back.
It is very worrying that so many beta released are appearing it such a short time frame. This always means that the developpers are bug fixing like crazy. It also means that the bugs they are fixing are serious otherwise they would wait before going to the trouble of the release procedure.
I am convinced that RIM has a major problem with OS 4.5 and that this has also helped delay the launch of the 9000 series.
I also believe that the Vodafone, Germany release of 4.5.0.37 was an error by that carrier.
My three phones (8100, 2 x 8310s - one now sold) have run just about every release of 4.5 since .10. I am now back on 4.2.2.194.
The last installation of 4.5.0.44 I did was absolutely minimal with nothing but the OS on it. There were no 3rd pary apps at all. The only change from standard that I made was to change the wallpaper on the BBDimension Today theme. I had 23Mb of mempry and the phone worked perfectly all the time except during a call when it would reboot either during the call or right after.
I shall continue to install versions of 4.5 as I receive them but as I said in another post. This software has more bugs than a rotten log.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Best advice, if you are up, running and stable, stay where you are.
I agree with both of you..I sure hope a bunch of betas don't start coming out one after another either...and I too, belive an OS problem is what has held the Bold from being released...although it is rather tempting to load up the newest and see what's better....guess it's preference...
I couldnt get 4.5.0.44 for the 8300, hope that .48 just gets leaked soon instead. I hear AT&T is close to an official release, probably after they upgrade to BIS v2.5 this weekend (makes sense)
Yep, my only issue with .44 is the VM icon also. I even was able to play some preformated high bitrate videos......going to load a couple of mine that I know played on 4.2.2.180 and see how they work.....
I've been looking at loads of threads about os4.5 over the last couple of days, but one link for the download of 4.5 was to German Vodafone's site. Am I right in assuming that this means Vodafone are issuing beta software from their web site (although I don't know what the accessibility of that link from their main web site is)?

Vodafone officially released OS 4.5.0.37 for their devices

I am going to start doing that more once my 8Gb card comes in the mail today
