Is anyone still suffering from memory leaks with the .44 version?

I've got the official .37 version on my BB and I'm needing to do a battery pull every 2-3 days to bring free memory back up. I'll go from 16+ free down to around 12+ free over the course of a few days. I never really suffered from memory leaks on 4.2.

OK, I used your method and got mixed results.

First, using JL_Cmder bricked the Overlord. No worries, since I was going to reinstall an OS anyway. After the optimization and install, everything is stable and my video recorder is working now.

However, all is not well in the land of Oz. Even after restoring my backup file, I seem to be missing some apps, such as the CB shortcut, Viigo beta, and one of my games.

Actually 2 things.

First go to options > security options > memory cleaning and enable it.
Save and exit. There should now be a memory cleaner icon on you
screen. Reset BB. Once back up do the same procedure. Do it show
as disabled. Just curious.

Next, for anyone with Nav4All, hold ALT and type L G L G, this will bring
up your log file. Clear it and then check it 5 minutes later. Is there a
bunch of Nav4All stuff populated there again. I don't remember if that
happened with any other OS.

Again not a big deal, neither issue is going to make me downgrade.
Just trying to see if either or both are normal

you really should consider it. its got some definite improvements, especially in the browser area of things. renders much faster.

What differences does it have besides just browser changes? I like 4.5, but they have sooo many versions!

I would try .44 but I don't like to have to call my IT Dept and reset my BES password every time I upgrade. Too much of a pain in the a**. I will not upgrade again until At&t official comes out.

I have seen .44 for the 8310 and the 8320, but have yet to see it for the 8300. Does any one know if there is an 8300 .44 OS floating around?

Does anyone know when 4.5 will come out for at&t? I upgraded to the beta one and I'm happy with the video but annoyed that aim doesn't work and the facebook app can't be added. Help!

Since the update even with no message on voicemail I see the voicemail icon all the time even with no new message.

Any Idea? I don't want downgrade :-(

Sorry if this has been asked but I can't sift thru 20 pages of this thread at the moment.

I've noticed the ringtone/alarm volume was a bit lower than the 4.2 OS. Has anybody noticed this? I usually have the ringtone volume at "Medium" but the new Medium is quite low. Even the newer "Loud" is lower than the old Medium. Any way I can change this?

I think this came up in a thread a while back when the 4.3/4.5 betas first surfaced...the ring volume in 4.5 is noticeably lower than that of 4.2. As much as I love the new features of 4.5, that is one thing I am definitely missing and hope that they address before the official release comes out. Used to be that I could leave my phone downstairs in my house and hear it ringing upstairs or over music playing in the car...not so much anymore.

This is a bug for some TMo 8320 users. It is ironic, because I have TMo with an 8320 (running OS 4.5.44) and I have the EXACT OPPOSITE issue. My VM icon NEVER shows... even if I have a voice mail! I know I read another TMo user was having the same problem.

Not worth it to downgrade... everything else with .44 is great! And rumors are saying that .48 is possibly around the corner. And some people believe TMo will come out with an official OS 4.5 by the end of June (highly doubtful!).
