This is still a work in progress, please keep that in mind. These are all the files I've been able to make work so far.

I have decided not to make the installer

    Un-Shrunk Versions
    http://www.theiexplorers.com/OneOfaK...v2unshrunk.rar -zip

    Shrunk Versions
    http://www.theiexplorers.com/OneOfaK...idv2shrunk.rar -zip

this is the entire 459 java folder,
    9 .451
    117 .464 files
with bbm 5.0.0.57, app world, facebook, docs to go etc...

It is only the java, apps, and tools folders

    Installation:

    Install your base:

    9530 users: 419

    9500 users: 451

    9520 users: 436

delete the java folder in the base OS from your pc
(You can find the OS folders in X:/Program files/common files/research in motion/shared/loader files/your os)

It will make dinner for ya, and go out on a date with ya!

Seriously it's probably a quest for better memory management, faster speeds, and lower battery consumption.

Just a note for any noobs like me (although I started with 4.167 and have done every update and hybrid I could find in the last 6 months of Storm1 ownership).

I tried to follow the instructions given in the link in the OP, but I found that I shouldn't delete all the files in the hybrid folder in the computer. Just replace the ones that come in the RAR file download. (Java, CMDA, and one more that I can't remember).

After I got everything reloaded, I was freaking out 'cause I didn't have a radio. Went over every step again. Still no radio. Finally realized that I had forgotten to go to my connections and turn the radio on. Doh!

After all of this, have to say that the battery has stabilized nicely and app memory is holding steady. Looks good. I'm anxious to see what the next few days bring.

nice job! do you have a changelog on what changed from the first hybrid you put out last week? I have that one installed on my phone right now, and I need to know what .cods and whatnot were added to this hybrid so I can judge whether or not it's worth the software upgrade again. Thanks for the hard work!

Most .451 files are .459 now. The phone cdma.cod file is now .463 and he has add several apps. I cant get on bbhybrids is anyone else having that problem?

2nd day running v2 and so far so good. I haven't had the issue of battery drain from my hard buttons staying lit which was starting to annoy me. Fast browser and opening / closing apps is fast. Memory seems the same from before staying in the 20's using a scheduled quickpull every day.

I will post any other positive or negative findings as they come. Overall great job once again OOAKDPC! I'm enjoying this so far.

Yeah, is it worth upgrading from the .451 hybrid? Or is it pretty much the same thing? Please let us know your findings!!!!

I find quickpull no longer works with this hybrid. Anyone else?

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com

Had to do a reinstall for quickpull to work.

As far as the usage.. I believe this hybrid is much better than the original .419 and his previous hybrid also.

    It was worth the upgrade.
