I have scanned eight different barcodes for various groups and for a week now its says waiting for conformation. Am I doing something wrong or does it really take that long for conformation? Btw I using a Bold 9930 on verizon.
It could be the groups r maxed out at 30 members.
Or it could be that a Administrator of the group has locked the group to anybody joining without a invite.
Or it could be a old barcode and the group has been deleted.

I wouldn't assume this is the issue but it doesn't hurt to check. Is your BB data plan active at that time too? Might be a loss of data connection? Sorry I don't really know. Could you create a group and invite a BBM mate to join and test that way?
