I updated my phone last night to OS 4.5 and BlackBerry Messenger is no longer there. What are my options for this? Can I reload the BBM App( where can i get it) or is there another app to run?

Plug in your phone and go to the app loader in BBDM and check the box for the BBM and click next.
Thats weird since its included automatically.

Depending on how you did the upgrade you may have missed it. I missed the attachment service when I did my last upgrade and it took me a minute to find it since I always do the same thing. There is no OTA link for it though so you need to use the PC.

when trying to upload the messenger using the new 4.7, i cannot find the link to upload the blackberry messenger. it just shows current apps on my phone. I am at a loss. What could i do to try to find BBM using the desktop manager? Please email me at [email protected]. Thanks.

You have to have the OS that is on your phone installed on your
PC as well. That is why your are only seeing your 3rd party apps.

Here is the link to bbm at the BlackBerry site. You need to open it from your PC, and download and install it to your device with DeskTop manager.
