I've just upgraded to 5.0.0.425/436 on my 9500 and whatever I try, I can't get BBM to install and neither can I get the crackberry AppWorld to work.

I've tried to uninstall and then reinstall BBM via AppWorld a few times already but I can't get it to work. I'm away from home so I can't do a wipe and reinstall the OS =/

Hybrids are a pain! Is BBM in your applications list?

Its in my app list on AppWorld.

I also made sure to not shrink it when I used the shrinker. I might just wait till I go home and revert back to .425. What are the benefits to having the hybrid .436 anyways?

I really don't have an answer for that because I have never had any luck with hybrids. Does BBM show in your applications list?

Yep, it shows in my Add-Ons list.

Strange, well unfortunately I am not very good help. sorry. All I can think of is to make sure are running .57 and make sure your BBM isnt hidden or hiding in a folder likle the IM folder.

I got it sorted
AppWorld sucks and I found the OTA from the blackberry website. Seems to be working now.

I had the same problem on my 9530 I just wiped and reinstalled and before puting anything else on the phone went to BlackBerry Messenger and installed and it worked fine.

I had 436 Hybrid OOAKDPC unshrunk since day 1 but b4 i install this i have BBM(latest).Installed 436 w/ no problem and BBM still there,till now am enjoying it!
