I just upgraded and I can't immediately tell whether there were any (visual) changes. So far everything looks the same as with .581. I'm guessing that with the (fairly) large number version change there were lots of bug fixes and/or possibly some new features but all under the hood.
there is no .581 man ..
there is a visual change in multitasking app . check it out

This better be a whopper to make me give up my Zocster's Hybrid!
So do what I am, just wait for Zocster to work his magic with the new files available to him and install RC4 when it is has been brewed from the new ingredients !!!
Sure that when it comes it will be better than the straight leaked OS.
One of the two changes exist in the previous version (7.1.0.580). I doubt RIM would be pushing out a new version over a simple change like text being added to the application switcher.

If you learned how to read properly, you would notice my EDIT comment. Also it isn't the Only changes; that's the one I discovered at first glance. Obviously there are under the hood changes too.
This is so f***ing lame that the mic issue is still not fixed! I really doubt there will ever be another update that works on AT&T for the rest of the life of the device. I guess I am stuck with .318 forever.

That's odd. I'm on AT&T with. 569 and I don't have the mic issue
My computer has been acting up all night (driver issues) and been getting no help from the manufacturer. Then the FTP won't load for me (times out), the Indonesian mirror wants me to pay and the filefactory one is 50 kb/s. It's 3AM and I'm tired
Shucks. I find that the battery drains faster with the smaller .sfi ... (Rogers) - at least in my experience. Also signal seems poorer with the 67MB file.
Don't ask, don't bash - I'm no scientist, just personal observation.
