so, with OS 5.00.xxx on the bold and at&t service, you typically have to use the browser fix in order to get your internet browser, otherwise you only get media net browser or hotspot browser
this is ok, if your bold is your only device but if you happen to move your sim over to another device you'd have to do the browser fix again.
having switched over to my iphone 3gs a couple of weeks ago (for a few days) , i had to register my device which wiped my internet browser and i was too lazy to deploy the fix
today, low and behold, after a random battery pull + resend service books, i got my stock internet browser (blackberry browser) back without any interference on my part - perhaps at&t is testing 5.0 components?
