i have the bb curve 3g for att. i got it in december, love it. it's been working fine, but my blackberry messanger says i have a new message, but ive checked and i dont. ive tried everything. re-booting, going into saved messages, going to unread messages, eveeeerryythinggg. it's reallly bothering me. please help!!!

maybe it is someone adding you as a friend, maybe it is a friend update? sometimes i miss those

i dont have a new friend request or anything. not even a new message. it was working fine. now it's driving me nuts!!

Bug. I get them every now and them using groups and regular messages in BBM.

Shows you there is a new message, but there is not......

Mine normally resets on the next incoming bbm

i would say battery pull, re-download BBM or upgrade if you can, check again that you don't have anything like friend invite or BBM group.

as john said... get someone to send you a BBM and see if it goes away.

I used to have an issue where the red LED would not stop going off until i got a new bbm message sometimes. It was weird then one day just stopped doing it.
