Mis-spelt words keep showing when typing and cannot remove them

I have a problem that seems to be common on older OS's and hopefully there is a solution for OS7

i have words that when i type pop up, predictive texting and some of them are mis-spelt. For example when i type deejayburnout, i also get deejaybirnout and i want rid of it. :mad:

i have checked my custom dictionary and deejaybirnout is not there. i cannot seem to find it anywhere.

i want to keep the predictive texting turned on.

Does anyone know where they are kept or how to remove them.

If you continuously keep spelling it right, the incorrect one should go away. I had a few like these, they went away after a while.

made alot of mistakes typing going from my Storm2 to my Bold.

Ha... same thing for me.

Just think i found the solution.

While upgrading my 9900 OS to the new 7.1, i backed up my device and wiped it.
Loaded in the new os and reinstalled my settings, HOWEVER, i selected what i wanted to re-install and i didn't check CUSTOM WORD COLLECTION.

Now it didn't load in my custom dictionary into my device that only had around 30 words in it but the collection said it had 195 ??????????

now all the bad spelling is gone.

Yea, or just connect your phone to dtm, open the databases and delete that one...but only if you want to do less work
