Hey guys,
So i got my replacement tour (green dot special), i upgraded the Phone OS to the 4.2.1 hybrid, then did a switch devices in DM. Now my BBM contacts didn't xfer over, and the address book is kinda messed up.
I have 2 locations for email and it appears to have the PIN numbers in there, but the guys aren't in my BBM. when i moved from my curve to the first tour, the messenger contacts transfered fine.

any ideas?


and now i am debating selling this tour and waiting for the essex or whatever it is, also anyone know how much mem the 8250 is supposed to get? I've seen 96 to 256....

I believe you need to do a backup and restore of your device in order to transfer BBM contacts, then issue an "Update PIN" to each contact from within BBM.

That's the only way I've ever seen my BBM contacts transfer from device to device.

when i went from my curve to tour, it just worked for BBM.

Does that ver Hybrid have newer BBM? That might be why...

Switch device wizard will move everything over....
