    Does anyone know of a maximum length of a PIN? I saw some old info on the BlackBerry forum about 30k characters for OS 4.5, but wondering if those limits have changed for OS7? I have a client who is looking for the answer.

    8 characters (hexadecimal digits) in the current implementation. I imagine it could be increased if BBM took off big time, but 16^8 is a pretty big number of connected devices even if a few combinations like 00000000 are never used and (relatively few) some have already been used for phones now in retirement
