Best Bold 9900 OS i have been on and i have used all of em, i was reluctant to use an unoffcial OS or a hybrid, but glad did i try it, it works flawlessly for me.

i can only install through the desktop software which is really bugging me since i always install hybrid using loader b4

Just install it with loader like you do with another OS and use BBSAK If you want to inject any cod!

If it doesn't work use the loader as said before. make sure you delete the vendor files.

and i use the latest Desktop Manager version

On the cod inject part, i've installed cod's before this, it worked fine, but this is the first time i'm using os7 device, it failed.. It does nothing, not even a flash~

Max and Berrylicious both have dropped some crazy sh*t with their Hybrid OS , one of the best actually for BB 9900 , one things they didn't think about : Multilanguages . I can guarantee a multilanguages(including europe language) .exe or a mini tutorial to show how to add languages would give way more credits from overseas !!! We're waiting lol

answer to question 1:

The battery life i'm very happy about. It's alot better than the .540, in my personal experience that is. I'm a big BB user during the day and with the .540 battery life would be gone in a flash. Don't have that with this one.

I'm currently using v7.1.0.74 and around three weeks ago the mobile hotspot stopped working (it was working prior to that). The following message is displayed after I try to activate mobile hotspot: "Cannot start Mobile Hotspot due to a temporary network problem. Please try again later"

Are there users out there who experienced the same issue with v7.1.0.74 but have upgraded to this hybrid version and found the mobile hotspot working again? The reason I ask is because there are alot of theories as to why the mobile hotspot has just suddenly stopped working (i.e. carrier or RIM blocking the feature, instability of the OS etc..). Any input would be greatly appreciated - thanks.

I get the same error but I read somewhere that that some carriers (mine being one of them) will not allow that feature or tethering if your data plan is less than 1 GB. I assumed that was the reason for me since I only have a 500MB plan. The difference is it never worked for me so maybe my assumption was incorrect given your experience.

Anyways i've fixed my problem, it seems that the phone rejects the older version of desktop software. I installed the 7.0 Build 30, it worked fine; injecting cods and install os using loader. Thanks btw for the hybrid. Only sad thing is i think the batt last shorter then my old bold
