i'm experiencing a slight audible beep, or half of a beep, every time i reboot the phone with this hybrid. does anyone else experience that? right after the LED turns off after being red for a few seconds but before the blackberry logo and boot screen come up. at that moment it's like a tiny beep that can be heard. anybody else experiencing this and is there a solution to it?

Ok, I've been using this for a couple of days now and the battery life is so much better! Everything else works great too including the wifi calling which Rogers has not made available yet for the 9900 stock OS. Don't know why I didn't look at this sooner!

can you post files needed and instructions needed to read/input korean using this hybrid? Still want English as primary, but from time to time, i need to read and type korean... being able to read in the most important part. I pm'ed you few days ago.

by the way, this Hybrid is the Sh***!! so much faster, and batt life is much better than the first os that came with the phone...now it's lasting all the until i'm ready to go to bed.

that's so weird! i've rebooted a whole bunch of times to test it out and i have NO idea why it's doing it. i've never had this happen before on any of my BB devices. obviously not everyone is going to have it happen to them and i'm sure if it's happening to me there's gotta be someone else out there too. this can't be a one off thing. i hope not.

This hybrid version seems to be the fastest build for 9900. I've been running this for 3 days already and have not seen any bugs. However, the only problem I've encountered is that this build kinda break the mobile hotspot. On build 7.1.0.74, mobile hotspot works fine for me even though it's kinda annoying when I have to press ok ever time with the popup. With this hybrid version, there is no popup but now it asks me to have the tmobile hotspot service. Any idea how to fix it?

In the menu on the home screen it reads "folde" wherever it should say folder

EDIT: seems like this can be fixed by changing the device language. I switched from english (us) to english, and back to english (us) and all is fixed.

I'm getting it too. Don't mind it much though. I just think of it like the DONG when you turn on a mac

By the way I'm really liking your v3! But it sucks that if I try to use hotspot with Tmobile that they want to charge me an extra $15 bucks a month when I'm already paying for unlimited bb internet!!

Basically rebooting your BB is sufficient.

Yes, NFC works too along with mobile hotspot. Haven't been able to test mobile hotspot thoough because (I think) Rogers will not allow it for data plans less than 1MB.

Really? I can't find it anywhere. Am I just not looking in the right spot? There's no smart tags app or NFC in the connection manager.
