Anyone notice that if your phone is on "standby" (screen is dark), you have to push the lock button twice to activate the lock? First push just turns the screen back on from standby. Seems like past OS's would go to lock from standby with one click?

How do I install this over .328? The installer points to program files->common files->RIM->shared->loader files, but I don't have the shared folder at all. Is there a place where .328 is installed that I can install the hybrid?
EDIT: Not sure if this matters, but I downloaded and installed .328 through DM. I did not download the .328 file from VZW first. I had .419 installed previously, but after reading the above posts about .328 having better memory stability I decided to delete .419 and reinstall .328 before installing the hybrid.
Put this over .328 this morning. I had .497 which was stable, even though it did leak mem a little, but never went below the low 20's. Since this morning my total app memory is up over 5mb from .497 and hasn't dropped a point. In 4-5 hours my mem has acually gone up(from 49.5 after I batt pull-holding at 49.7). So the memory is beyond great on this hybrid, actually the best ever. My battery seems to he dropping faster than on .497. It went down from 100% to 77% in about three hours. I was using the music player with headphones for two of those hours with minimal other use. On .497 I would still have 85-90% after those same three hours. Anybody else notice the battery difference? Or is battery better over .419?

This is the first hybrid I'm using. I'm putting it over .328, and hoping for the best! I'm sure it's going to be an improvement from what I have based on what I've been reading from all of you!
Memory dropped right after the first battery pull but then has bounced between 25 and 28Mb the past 2 days. I haven't charged the phone during this time and still have 30% on the battery. Certainly better than 419 but not sure why 5.x gives me half the memory as 4.x.

I originally installed 548-B over 419, i ran BBSAK-WIPE DEVICE to prep for 548-B over 328. When i clicked launch loader from SAOS, i saw a message saying that the device software was newer than the one i was trying to install, i had already uninstalled 419 from win ctrl panel. Did anyone else see this? it was a simple check to continue installation, i was just not sure why that screen came up.

This is still far better than .419 by itself which required a battery pull every 4 or 5 days. The Browser seems way faster as well and I have not had that annoying typing issue with the browser. Thanks again for the hybrid!

i actually noticed that when i had this hybrid over .419 but since i switch to .328 i havn't notice it yet

After 4 days I am stable on memory too. Started at 35Mb, which dropped to between 28 and 26Mb after less than 1 day but now hasn't moved in the last 3 days. Battery lasted 3.5 days.
I have to say that I am very impressed with both the memory and the battery life of this hybrid. I am able to boot with 40.6 meg and it stays there for a day or more.. it did drop off to 34 meg and stabilized when I was hammering my phone hard with BBM and calls.
Does not like themes the memory bleeds off fast when I put an theme into action. Battery seems to be lasting a bit longer I drop about 5% every couple of hours. GPS and running maps turned on I drop 20% in an hour. I will get some occasional signal drop off from 3G to 1X but that may be due to the environment of my office and the surounding topography.
All in all I like this way more than the standard .419. I was hoping the black lines in the SMS window was resolved - oh well.
Up time with this hybrid is 2 days 9 hours and 30 minutes. Free app memory is fluctuating between 43.6 & 43.3. Battery discharge rate since full charge at 6 AM is .5% per hour.
I'd say this hybrid is good to go, I did do three battery pulls after loading the OS which seems to be what it takes to get an OS to settle out.
BTW I run a simple Today theme that I have been using for almost a year now and it has never given me a problem with any OS I've loaded other than needing to be updated to go to 5.0.
