This has to do with the Battery Saving mode. If you set the brightness to the lowest setting, whenever you reboot the phone it will go back to 70 from 10. (increase in brightness) To fix this, turn on the battery saving mode, choose 10 and then save. Reboot and turn off the battery saving mode and reboot again.
At least I had this issue on the last leak. I didn't come across the same problem with this one.
I had this issue too. It's what caused me to seek out the latest leak. Kudos for figuring out how to get around it!

I'll give this a try when I load the leak again. Thanks.

Can anyone please confirm that hotspot works on the Rogers network with this build? I'm on 205 and it's been flawless since day one. Wifi hotspot is a must for me. Thank-You
Been running the .402 for 2 weeks now. The mem leak is driving me crazy. Removed beweather, but that didn't help.
Mem goes from 113 free to 90 within first hour after battery pull.
Running the following Apps:
ABN AMRO app
BlackBerry Bridge
BB Messenger
BB News
BB Protect
BB Travel
Buku Reader
Couverts
Dropbox
Endomondo
Evernote
Facebook
Foursquare
IM+
IM+ Talk
ING Banking
Moodagent
Nobex
Nomand
Nu.nl
Parkmobile
Photo Studio Pro
Shazam
Smart WiFi
Twitter
Whatsapp
Wikitude
Windows Live Messenger
Yahoo Messenger
That long list of applications you're running might have something to do with it. I only run a handful of applications and the free memory fluctuates up and down a lot more that 25 MB. 90 MB may be a threshold for the garbage collector to kick in.
i am not sure, it feels like after i upgrade to 402 the signal strength start to decrease @.@
like SOS SOS SOS, ahhhhh
and when i driving, i find the bb traffic took longer to get hold of the position, kind of weird so i am not sure if it is the OS problem
After a week of using 402, and almost 10 battery pulls, i find the radio signal strength terrible. For battery, I used to get almost 10 - 12 solid hours (average usage) on 2g/3g on Docomo's 318, but on this i get a mere 5 - 6 hours on average usage on 2g/3g.
Reverting back to 318, which was the best build for me overall.

Yes, unfortunately battery life seems to be compromised in .402. Disappointing.
