I wonder if AT&T will ever make a 7.1 official. They're pretty much the only ones left.
Just a guess, but this might be a pre-release AT&T build, considering it changes the "4G" back to "H+" and now requires activation for hotspot.

As I suspected it would, mobile hotspot now requests activation.
Too bad, gonna have to skip this one.

I installed a few hours ago and first battery drain report was over 10% an hour! Not too happy with this leak so far. Did a few battery pulls and hopefully that will settle it down. Regardless I'll most likely go back to 284. I had amazing battery life and it just seemed smoother.

I went to Blackberry.com and was able to update my 9810 straight from their site. I'm with AT&T so I'm a bit confused to why it is letting me update to 7.1.0.342; as it didn't let me update to 7.1.0.258... but any how.. updating now...

I had 7.0.0.585, I went to Blackberry.com then the 7.1 OS link.. then clicked check for updates... and it let me update to 7.1.0.342

H+ instead of 4G for me on this one. (AT&T)

Also I have one of those 9810s that had touch screen issues on earlier 7.1 leaks, touch seems to work much better on this one. Too early to tell on other stuff right now.
When you say touch issues, the issues regarding calibration and screen misfires??

Blah.. garbage... Touch Screen still bugged... internet ridiculously slow.. Staying with 7.0... 7.1 is a waste of time

I'm with AT&T as well and when I went to BB.com the only update it showed was the 7.0. 583 (24xx bundle). I'm using the 7.0.261 (1355 bundle) now with Zero issues and good battery life, so the only way I'd update would be if it was an "official" release from AT&T, which would hopefully mean they have worked out all or at least most of the bugs. I don't need a "hotspot" so I'm not sure if there is a good reason to update when it comes out.

Install with no errors, but won't update my e-mail accounts and when I try to enter my blackberry ID says I can't update "offline". Browser works and can get text messages but no emails. Any suggestions?

Hope this one somehow fixes the track pad issue ... but think I will have to accept it as a HW problem and take the torch in ... here's hoping ...
When I upgraded to 7.1.0.284 I had a trsckpad issue to but after doin a few battery pulls my trackpad started working perfectly

Had the same problem with this and .284. My screen, buttons and keyboard were all rendered useless after using it for a minute or two. I still recieved messages and the phone did it's own thing, but I could not control it all even after multiple battery pulls. Tried to wipe and install it again just to have the same issue. Had to wipe and go back to .258.

Not too many people seem to be having trouble with this. Any ideas?

I am using the OSBB hybrid though...

First time it didn't restore the sound profiles though, but a simple restore from backup fixed that.

Have you reformatted your sd card or tried running without it? sometimes that can be an issue with things not working right

gotta say the install process was incredibly smooth and painless via DM which could be a first! my observations on the upgrade process:

    - all my beta zone BB apps were 'in tact', BBM, BBM Music (just needed the 1.2 keycode from Wed), App World (needed the keycode i received that morning) and Twitter

    - all of my in progress conversations on BBM were still in tact right where i left off! unheard of on previous os upgrades...well done on this!

    - backup file (now with the .bbb file extension since using DM v7.0) creeated during the upgrade process was less than half the size of my last backup

One strange occurence is i lost the BB conference app which was easily reinstalled via AW (appeared in my 'uninstalled' apps list).

Hope this helps anyone who is hesitant or nervous about doing this upgrade. Performance is about the same as .284 but it might be a bit early to tell. Radio seems to have improved.
