True, but I would be suprised if the 2 builds are radically different spec wise, hope I'm wrong and it really rocks.

Many seem to feel that .284 is superior to .342 for the 9900.
Yeah... I'm hoping better than .267. I was about to downgrade back to .163 but then I saw the leak was released.

Not yet... still installing. Well restoring at this point.

No I didn't try. I thought vendor files were not in leaked OS's... but I found them. I didn't try to load the OS before I deleted them though.

I have not found anything new as of yet from 267, seems a little snappier when connecting to DM and just in general use.

Same here, went and found vendor files first, but this time I only found 1 vendor file as compared to the 2 that I had to delete from 267.

when it comes to the BB OS 7 phones, I don't really see any differences between the builds as they all pretty much run fast on the BB 7 devices... i just load them because I like to have the newest thing

So far so good. Much snappier than .267 and I noticed a few more Mb left... 15 or so. Can't find anything new though yet.

Wifi, mobile hotspot, bluetooth and media player all work so far.

Ok. Just got done and loaded up no problem without deleting vendor.xml files on Verizon. So far don't see any changes. Watching battery life as always. Seems snappier (everyone says that).

True, yes we all say snappier, .267 was snappy for me too but got sluggish. Now I'm just watching for a memory leak.

Not advisable. I have only found one vendor file and DM recognized the new os as soon as I plugged up my phone. I'll download tonight when I'm less busy.

I am installing without deleting them now. I hardly ever do it and I haven't been having a problem.

284 had the best battery life compared to the 342 hybrid I'm running right now on 267 base. Will try this os as I too like to be the most current

When updating, on the last / summary page, i spotted this in the list of apps to be restored / kept / installed:

    net.rim.bb.phone.bbcequintcallernameid

Looking online, Cequint is some company offering a different way of caller ID?

Was this already present in previous builds?

    It showed up on .267...

Also, I don't want to jump the gun just yet, but I'm noticing a very slight drop in memory. Only -1.8 so far, but it was at -1.5 30 minutes ago. I'll keep monitoring and post my findings. It could be because I put Social Feeds back on against my better judgement. I'll give it a day though.

    **EDIT:

After not using my device for 30 minutes, some memory came back. So it looks like the OS might be doing what it is supposed to do... level out on it's own.

Is this AllLanguage or just MultiLanguage??
I really need a "AllLanguage" 7.1 build but can't find it anywhere...

(Or.... What if I install a MultiLanguage build in a phone that already has AllLanguage? Will the additional langs be removed?)

Yeah, you're right -- the Cequint stuff is most probably coming from the app 'Caller Name ID' i guess - which is some sort of subscription service.
