Try deleting vendor.xml...maybe that helps

I saw the tweet from CB last night about the newest versions of Facebook & BBM that had been extracted from this OS, so I downloaded 'em both. FB installed & worked fine, BBM installed but the BBM icon was missing although app management showed the new BBM version as being installed.
Checked previous threads for ideas, tried reinstalling, etc. Battery pulls, etc. were no help. Eventually downgraded to BBM 6.1.0.49 (which required no less than 9 confirmation messages...) and the icon was back.
Ideas why this didn't work? Running 9850 with OS 7.0.0.464.

Loaded this a few hours ago. I'm not too sure but I noticed that with this build, the ringtone is a bit too soft. Furthermore, it seems that the Speaker Test under Analyzer does not seem to work.
Can't comment much on the battery life yet, but the battery analyzer does provide good data with average discharge rate, highest discharge module, etc.
So far with a few hours of running the highest battery consumption goes to the backlight module it seems

One suggestion could be to remove your SIM card and then retry.
And, make sure that the vendor.xml file is removed before starting up the Desktop Manager - it shouldn't be necessary but it can't hurt, just to be on the safe side.
Till now how long ur batteries last? Mine in 2G and average use (4 hours talk. Some tweets, some whatapp and 15-20 emails) hardly lasts 15 hours! Miss my 9700 battery life!
