No need to delete vendor.xml as it's an empty file when it comes to leaks.
Device software load took the usual 30 minutes.
CJK.alx does exist in this release - CN/JP/KR/etc character fonts are installed. I hope that RIM have given up not including them by default in some of their releases.
Wi-fi hotspot present - needs APN name (and possibly also APN username/password) credentials from the mobile network provider.
Device initialisation takes the same time - no improvement there.
Clock screen looks different - alarm time is now framed in its own box.
Universal search now includes "web suggestions by bing" - can turn that off in the options...
No doubt more goodies to explore, but meanwhile don't be afraid to install this release. The upgrade process worked flawless for me.
Just finished installing, everything went smooth, no need to delete vendor file as someone alreday suggested. Boot time was usual. There is wifi hot spot option, and battery saver (new), noticed as of now. Normal operations. For battery will need 1 to 2 days time. I will update about battery soon.
Hard to say at the moment - only installed a couple of hours ago. However there are new "battery saving" features that can get turned on when the battery is 20% or less. That 20% can be configured - I don't know what those features are yet, haven't tried it.

I deleted the Vendor.xml before i installed this OS (was surprised to see it after installing a leak), not sure if its because of that or not but my Mobile Hotspot feature just asked some setup questions and then i was good to go, i connected my laptop to my 9790 and got pretty decent speed : )
As for battery life... gonna have to give it more time to see the results. So far this OS runs flawlessly and im really happy to have it!

it does have CJK.alx but if you check the .cod itself, it doesnt have the actual asian languages support
