Does this have %8 battery drop glitch
Yes it does.
Give it a week and then you'll see if it has it.
no 3g/2g option in 7.1? only 4g?:confused:are all(bold, curve, torch) like this?
No I have 2G, 3G, and 2G + 3G
It's only some networks I believe
Discovered a change in the new firmware:
Mobile hotspot no longer asks for login details (eg. Telstra.iph). It just connects immediately without prompt.
1. Yes I get sent to the page to buy the service. Where can I get the COD from .74?
2. NFC is not enabled. I am not sure if it is carrier specific or my BESX settings
3. Browser is plenty fast. in fact everything seems a bit snappier than .190
its jump from 190---> 205..
notice any new bug fixes yet..?
new features if any...?
can't get to a pc anymore to upgrade, hoping AT&T releases this soon. otherwise just staying on .590 for now.
Browser is faster than 190.
NFC is working 2 devices with 7.1.
That's all!

can't resist, after reading each & every comment on this thread then i decided to try this OS build to my own 9900. the installation took place quite fast. i didn't shrink the OS, i just selected which apps i wanted and followed the prompts. i hope yeah, this build will do better.
will report on the battery drain & the overall performance soon after few days. mobile hotspot, NFC, BB Tag, here.. come to daddy!!!
hahaha. i know bro, i was just making a bit of fun adding on to what you were saying. not directed at you ya. :)
This is the best leak.
What's more noticable is the Stability of WiFi Hotspot
7.1..70 just drops flat out.
.190 can sometimes says "suspdned". or once you terminate wifi hotspot once, you won't get it start again unless you reboot bb. it
This one, I've been wifi hotspot for an hour and absolutely no problem ;)
Still z and y mixed in german keyboard..
It's taking 15 mins to complete download... is that fast?!:p
Is there any chance... not on this release, but in the future... that we'll get the hand-off UMA functionality back?
Staying within a couple dozen yards of an access point might be useful to some... But what I loved about UMA these last five years or so with TMO, was that I could be in the office (one LAN) or the warehouse (another LAN), or outside (GSM), or on the road (GSM), or at home (third and fourth LAN), and keep the same UMA call going. Now I get ridiculous klaxon sounds in my ear before I'm disconnected.
Oops, I was Downloading for last 2 hours. Now got stuck at 99% for last 15 minutes.
No Resume support. File Size already downloaded is 249229KB.
Can anybody confirm the File size ok or incomplete??
OMG, same problem i faced in this update when i update my phone i can't find Hotspot :(
i try it before with 190 same i can't find it
only i can see it with update 74 anybody can help please ..!!!!
I'm Using Vodacom south Africa i think the problem from them anybody can help or inform that
thanks very much in advance
I'm sorry, but I have to downgrade immediately - I went from 3 bars of reception at home to 0 bars (on Wind Mobile in Toronto)
Welcome to my world. Vodacom doesn't support mobile hotspot and hence their service books delete the the function.
No chance whatsoever.
The 9900 does not have a UMA chip installed like the 9360 and other older models did. The only way you can have wifi calling is by way of an app integrated into the OS, and this cannot support cell tower hand-off like UMA does.
File size is 243MB
