The only issue I have had is the holster reboot. I've been running the lead for a few days now - browser speed fine, battery fine, signal fine, no random reboots except for when holstered.

So is the consensus to go with 5.0.0.484 sprint version, or 5.0.0.530 leaked version if you are using Verizon Tour? I have read almost all of this thread, and the below. I

Anyone find a workout on this build for Berrybuzz??

I love that app and i've tried others since this one doesn't work but they are all terrible compared to berry buzz.

Some Verizon users are having better reception with the .419 radio. Try .419/.484 both and make your own decision. I get better reception on .419 and I get terrific battery life.

I've been using 530 for almost a week and the only reason I can give you for using one of the 4xx releases is if you like using a holster. The reboots are rare if you keep them apart. If you don't mind keeping it in your pocket, then 530 is the way to go. No doubt.

well its all opinion...I say...try it out....use it for a little...if u don't like it..switch back. It all depends on what functions u find priority.

Some ppl are having holstering reboots and the standby is no longer available...so if you are a person who uses those features...I woudn't upgrade...but if you can care less about those feature..like me....530 is great

I found today that if I have my phone music streaming thru the cpt cable hookup in my car..if I have alerts audible...it will restart whatever song I'm listening too.

It was also a pain in the *** to setup up the bluetooth. I would have to manually connect it each time I got into my car..it usually connects automatically. I feel like the discoverable setting is backwards..I had to set it to off...in order to let my car automaticaly connect to the car. this is opposite to what it should be.

It makes good sense to download a leaked OS as soon as you hear about it. Wait if you want, to install it. Leaks are squashed quickly when they are found. That's why people download, setup another link on a storage site, so as many people as possible get the oppourtunity to try it before all the links dry up.

.530 is a joke of an OS. The radio/sfi file drives the who thing and it's broke. You can't use .419/.484 with it as it renders your media card unreadable.....not worth the time. Took 4 hours just to get the crap OUT of my computer to go back to irtehun's .419/9.0 combo.

I've discovered a couple more bugs. Doc To Go 2.0 won't sync with the desktop with this O/S, had a similar problem with.230. Also the browser does not seem to the home page when its reopened. I even got an error about the page not being available that I could not get out of. I may downgrade and try the 484 even though I dread having to reload/register the 3rd party apps again.

Missed calls show up as message indicators. Weird.
    Battery life superb on EDGE.
Myspace rebooted twice upon new message, but works well after.
Browser link must be clicked somewhere in the middle or no go.
Opera Mini 5 Beta 2 caused edge and BIS apps to not work. Closing returned BIS.
    Ringtone anomaly especially for BBM.
Now loading PTT-less version. Will see.

Dumped it and tried 484 instead, had 419 prior to 530. So far the only thing I miss is the browser was faster with 530, but it was too buggy for me.

Given the overall positive feedback WRT to the 9700 5.0.0.536 leak, I wonder how much of the code base is shared between BB models, specifically between the 9700 and the 9630 (Tour). It just seems that the the bug fixes and optimizations made for the 9700 would be beneficial to the Tour.

    Any thoughts?

Verizon tech tells me these bootleg OS's are causing quite a bit of tech issues. I didn't go further into it..but you are voiding warranty on your machine when you install leaked copies. Just my 2 cents...

You void your warranty if you install leaked os? Is that if you've ever installed it on your device? How would they know if I did a wipe and installed 4.7 again before I took it to be serviced?

    .
Now that I have .530 loaded
How can I correct the holster reboots ?
I seem to be lost with the ppt and mptt stuff
