I upgraded to .530 on Friday and had no issues all weekend, but today I've noticed that whenever I put my vza Tour back into the holster it reboots automatically. Any solution for this?

There is no solution because it is the .530 radio file itself that has the issue. Those of us trying to make hybrids have had no choice but to return to using the 484 radio and other select files if it is to function properly.

I am wondering if this was perhaps a leak done on purpose to mess with everyone that gets and uses these leaks :/

Loaded this OS over the weekend. No crashes no issues really other then continued battery drain like 6% per hour. All apps working as designed other than that.

Installed this leak on Friday and everything seems to be a bit faster, just a bit. Battery life hasn't changed and still isn't the best.

I had no reboots until I tried configuring berrybuzz. I am not totally convinced its the radio. I used .419 radio.

It has been 24 hrs and have no complaints! 530 is better than 480, the browser is much faster and overall responsive. Just like I said before, delete PTT files before installing and you will be fine.

What exactly do you mean deleting ptt related files? I'm having random reboots and I'd really like to solve this problem.

It appears that a small minority can run 530 without the holster reboot issues. I for one have loaded twice from a BBSAK low level wipe, with all ppt files removed and the OS shrunk with SAOS and mine reboots every single time I place it in the holster. Appears to be associated with the 530 radio file, 484 radio file stops the device from rebooting, however, the media card is rendered useless and VAD does not work, those are dealer killers for me.

I totally agree. The .530 browser is so so fast. No lag AT ALL. Also, the battery life is very good.

I, for one, am glad to see RIM is working the kinks out of this OS. I wouldn't be surprised if this leak was offered up on purpose by RIM and Vz. to catch these last few bugs.

So, like most people now, I have been using this leak for well over 24 hours and I am a big fan, as long as I keep it away from it's original holster (which might just be the best Free case for any phone or BlackBerry yet, and dare I say it's HOME).

Dear RIM, keep up the good work, just one more nasty bug left. Stop the random reboots.

Dear Vz, thanks for keeping RIM on their toes. Make them get this last one too.

    Mike

    P.S.
I'm on Vz, no 3G symbol here, just good old 1XEV

Is the boot time significantly faster on the 5.0.0.530?

This is def the best build ive loaded yet on my blackberry. The OS is overall very fast and the browser speeds are crazy. Unfortunately my data coverage sucks where I live but I really love how fast it is when i travel.

The reboot time is actually worse with .530 as opposed to .419 but it doesn't bother me. Battery life is great and there is no lag while playing around with it.

I still get the reboot after placing it in the holster but i rarely use it anyway

Yeah this is by far the best OS minus the reboot and as soon as that gets fixed (which I hope is soon) this should be the official for verizon. The browser is the fastest ever and it moves smooth going through the phone.

I did install it deleting prior all files related to PTT...
All reports are accurate about performance improvement, especially browser... I came from 484 which was pretty solid after doing the browser mod. This one required no mods other than deleting those files before installing.

    Good luck out there
where do you find these ptt files to delete?
