I thought .530 was pretty good? I have that now and am happy. What was wrong with .530?

Yeah, I'll wait until there's 15 pages ranting and/or raving about it before I bother to install it.

.530 sounded like a train wreck and I'm very happy with my .419

I really hate having to setup all my 3rd party apps all over again every time I install a leaked OS. Even backing up with BBSAK doesn't get it back to where it was before the upgrade.

I have never had a problem with BBSAK not restoring everything perfectly! What seems to be the issue you're experiencing? I can see that would be a pain. The couple of apps I use come over from BBSAK fine---I just have to enter my registration information into the app again or allow it to sync to my pin, etc.

If you use the holster, a problem that it was causing was that the phone would reboot every time you took out. It was happening to me so I went back to .484. Also, for me my phone would just reboot like every 2 min.

Of all the times I have done it only came out right once.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if it wasn't operator error.

I'll have to let you how it goes if I end up installing this leak.

Wow, that was by far the fastest OS install I have ever seen. Restoring my backup now.

First OS start was very fast up until about 70% progress on the little bar and then froze for quite some time. Still frozen at nearly 2 minutes into boot.

Just downloaded it now. Will probably upgrade over lunch. I knew there was a reason I brought my laptop into work with me today.

I've downloaded it but don't have time to install it, I'm eagerly waiting information that will let me know if it works as well or better than my Driphter v6.4 hybrid.

NOTE: Driphter has a v8 out now but since it's built on the horrific .530 it does the holster reboot thing.....

NOTE2: I'm doing something wrong, everything restores properly using DM and then BSAK except Facebook and each time I have to re-download and re-enter all the information????? Isn't there some way to back up the app w/o having to start new each time?
If you know the fix, TIA!

.419 has been great for me so honestly i don't really see myself installing anything again until Big Red throws an official at us. But i am curious as to what this leak does to things.

I am VZW and I didn't delete or alter anything about the OS. It installed just fine.

I am on Sprint and I deleted the vendor file, vznavigator, vcast music, vodaphone music player, and all the PTT files. It is uploading as we speak. I figure I might as well delete those things because I am not with big red, but I doubt it makes a difference if I left them on. I am on task 9 of 11 as I type this. I will report findings in a bit. 530 was amazing except for the reboots. I hope this is great!
