First let me apologize for again cluttering this board with a dumb question. Seems those are the ones I never have answers for....
Anyhow, after months of ownership, I'm playing around with the calendar app on my 8310 curve. I've set up my wife and my work schedules and various appts on the calendar and was really liking this til I hit July 12th, which turned out to be the wall. How do I advance past that date? I know this has to be something in the settings that is not permitting it to go further, but, I'm stumped

Have you tried menu Go to Date and tried putting in a date past Jul 12th?

Actually, when I go to my go to date, it shows today's date. If I change it to, say, Sept. something, it still only goes to July 12th

I think it's telling you to go to Verizon and get a Tour on July 12th and leave AT&T.

Thanks, trebb! Was that Verizonspeak for "I don't know"?

I'm sure you've done the usual battery pull? I have never had an issue like that, my calendar has always worked flawless on the 7 bbs I have had.

Honestly, didn't pull the batt. When I first set an appt it was June 12th Is there some kind of one month option that I may have inadvertently hit that is keeping it to July 12th>

I don't know about you, but I would personally be very careful and not leave the house on July 12th...there's something very Twilight Zone-ish about my calendar not allowing me to make appointments past July 12th.

Sorry, I know that didn't help you but honestly it was the first thing that came to my warped mind.

Try this, don't know if it will help...go into your calendar, then hit the menu button and go to Options, go into general Options, and see if the Keep Appointments setting is set to 15 days...mine is set to 60 days.

sorry, just saw your message. Actually, there is an option to show remaining "free time" I didn't want to see free time on every date, so I chose no, and that prevented me from going further on the calendar. As soon as I changed the option back to yes, bingo, calendar was back.

That's strange. I have my free time set to 'No', and I've never experienced an issue with my calendar.
