THIS ISN'T THE FILE FOR THE HYBRID.
JUST INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE IT AND THE LINKS TO BOTH 113 AND 114.

This, for me, has been the best build yet. For those who want to try it, see instructions.

    9530 .114

    9500 .113

    Instructions
    1. Install both 113 and 114
    2. go to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research in Motion/Shared/Loader Files. You'll find the folders for both 113 and 114
    3. if you want to backup 114s java files go to 114 folder>java folder>select all the java files and copy them were you want for the backup.
    4. then go to the 113 folder>java folder>copy all the java files
    5. back to the 114 java folder>paste then say 'yes to all' when it asks you to overwrite.
    6. don't mess with any other files. follow above exactly.
    7. then your gonna uninstall 113.
    8. install 114 on your phone as normal.
    9. you'll have 4.7.0.113 PL143 on your about screen when done.

hey whoever installed the 113/114 hybrid were you able to save all the information from your previous OS like contacts/ calender dates and what not? Cause last time i did the 99/103 hybrid i somehow lost all that even after i backed it all up cause it said there was an error

so your using the java files from .113 with the .114 .sfi radio file.

Hows the accelerometer performance? Reason im asking is because it was the major issue i had with .114 in the first place (way too latent/laggy IMHO). I was under the impression the .sfi file was what dictated accelerometer performance. If thats the case, then it would be a waste of time (correct me if im wrong).

I've had little to no issues with .109 (other then mms.cod which was swapped with .86's) and i get great reception and rarely drop calls if at all.

Id like to see a little more feed back on this .113/114 hybrid (in regards to overall GUI and Accelerometer response) before i go and butcher up a custom/hybrid.

Yup that's fixed from using the official 113 java files. No need for 109.

Dialpad problem is fixed. There is no problem that is not fixed with this build...

Other than the color issue and possibly the data arrows. Seems to be theme specific.

I'm liking it so far...Memory is way higher!!

Accelerometer is = to .109 I would say.

Lock is a bit slow, unlock is almost instant.

I have got my data arrows and using Appleberry theme.

Loving it so far coming from .109.

    vendor.xml

its in the apploader folder, not the shared/loader files folder

if its not there, then your good to go.

I do just as habit. It only takes all of a half a second anyways.
