A friend was wondering if anybody had any symbols that aren't the usual ones and can be used when u are mad at someone if u get my drift. Also looking for the smilies like u can find on myspace.

I've wanted the flipping of the bird symbol for quite some time now....

I saw a thread or two on some other forums on similar topics (Google: "Blackberry Messenger emoticons").

I'm not sure if this would work as expected unless both devices [send and receive] had identical character sets.

I am curious to know though so please post if you find out anything.

I don't really want to "flip anyone off" though just curious about this capability.

Then basically you're just looking for symbols. There are symbols posted in those threads. They're nice ones of course.

If you save the symbols you can have them as autotext. Here's an example of how I use symbols.

I save them all on my memopad.

Not sure how to add smiley's, but I add auto text jsut the same as POE... And if anyone can find a flipping the bird smiley I would be forever in their debt!
