So I'm on .75 and I'm not exactly sure what I need to do. I currently have .132 and the .148/5.0 hybrid installed on my computer via these instructions from Lyricidal's website:

If you're upgrading from stock .75/.76
    - Download and Install 132 Leak
    - Once .132 Installed, Install the 5.0Hybrid file
    - Shrink Your Os [Not Required]
    - Update your Phone
(This is why: Only reason .132 is required to go from stock is so that you have a registered upgraded OS installed on your PC (mainly in your registry). You then upgrade that one to become .141/5.0)

Now my question is this. Why is .132 going to be the main OS installed upon my computer? Is it because the hybrid computer install actually overwrites the files that are in the .132 program folders?

The Hybrid exe overwrites some of the files with .141 (if that's the hybrid your installing) and 5.0.93 files, and leaves a few (I think the radio in that particular hybrid) as .132.

If your doing the latest .148 hybrid, you install the .148 upgrade over whatever your currently running, then run the latest 5.0Hybrid.exe. At this point, outside of the 5.0 stuff, I'm not sure what of .148 is left or changed, but based on Lyricdal's past, I'm sure it's the best of all worlds.

Okay. So it says I need to have .132 installed on my computer in those instructions. Do I need to uninstall .132 after I run everything or can I simply install the .148 leak then run the hybrid again?

One this page of his instructions (http://forums.crackberry.com/f132/95...d-beta-204517/), it says:

If you're upgrading from .148 (which is easiest)
    - Install .148 leak. From Here (Skip this step if you already have it)
    - Run the Hybrid Installer and Click Install
    - Shrink Your Os [If you do, it will delete Vendor.xml for you]
    - Update your Phone using Loader.exe (Click Launch Loader.exe in Shrink-A-OS or go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)

Whether your currently on .75 or .132, start with installing the .148 leak.

Don't forget to back up regular and 3rd party app first.

Got a question, too, concerning hybrids: What is the difference between the 32 and 64 versions? I have got a PC with an Intel Core Duo, running WinXP Pro SP3. Is this 64 or 32?

Sorry for this dumb question, but as a rule I do not have to know about bit rates of processors, and all that.

Thanks in advance for an answer (without grilling...)!
