The story is simple- grabbed a used Curve 9300 to cure nostalgia, and I can't add a personal e-mail. I'm stuck in an enterprise activation. The fun part, however- I don't have an IT policy installed, I've checked and confirmed. (OS 6)
What could be the trouble?
do you have BIS on your servicelan?

Does it have a setup option for Internet email?
Not sure if that is available on yours but it is available on mine.

Might be a previous owner IT policy, see if you can contact seller to get you off the system, or find out if it ever was. If not check for the BIS
if a blackberry is not taken off the BES properly and just wiped it will stay with an IT policy. There are only 2 ways to remove an IT policy 1 is to re-add it to a BES and take it off cleanly, 2. is using desktop manager to perform a reset to factory command.
