I guess I'm not certain how to answer your question. I believe I only have one operating system on my laptop which is Windows XP Professional. Is this what you are asking me?

I have .75 and .85 installed on my laptop. Do I need to remove/delete .75 in order for .85 to work?

Well, I'm back and I'm smiling
I guess the problem was that I had .75 and .85 installed on my laptop. I removed both .75 and .85 from my os. Then I reinstalled .85. Followed instructions and was able to successfully load .85 to my Storm. MANY THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!!! Enjoy your evening

1. after locking the screen and put the Storm into the holster. When I take it out it is unlocked and a email I just got is showing. This was not the case prior to upgrading.
2. not sure if this is me still learning the phone or not. But sometimes when i push the menu button looking to get the menus I get the application icon task bar across the middle of the device. ??? ((sort of when you want to change applications) like I said it could be me and my learning curve.....

I am just having a little trouble with my BB media sync with itunes. When I try and access this function I am prompted with a pop up that says "The Blackberry Media sync installation failed to intialize. Please run the Blackberry Decktop Manager with Administrative priviledges and try again." I am not exactly what to do for this issue. Anyone have any idea of what to do?

Hi Don. Im a 9500 user in the UK. Do you know if the same instructions apply for me as well? Can you also advise what the file extension should be of the new build? I have found a link for .83 on this forum but it is an .exe file.

they will all be exe files since they are executable files...you need to make sure that they are for the 9500

And secondly (here's the newbie part coming now) ... what are the advantages of upgrading to .85? I only received mine yesterday and I'm kinda cacking myself to tinker with it although it does seem a wee bit on the slow side. Any help would be greatly appreciated ...
