My network gives me 10mb-per-day when roaming for BBM. Is this a lot or not?

One BBM message is approx. 3KB.. 1024KB in a MB.. you do the math.

That seems like enough !

During the past billing cycle I used 324mb over 30 days (10.8mb/day) but this was with a brand new phone downloading a ton of apps, company email, personal email, facebook and waaaaayyy too much time on BBM !!

That's pretty decent then. I won't be BBM'ing all that much but it's nice to know I can without incurring roaming charges.

I BBM A LOT, when I travel to the US, I use about 1-2MB of data per day using BBM,

just minimize picture/voicenote sharing

I wouldn't do ANY file sharing, or picture, or voicenotes, but text BBMs should be fine.

I would definitely avoid sharing any videos.

You should avoid sharing videos and photos. Maybe even voice notes.
